Olympic Qualifiers: Pinnick tips Dream Team to beat Congo

NFF President, Amaju Pinnick has expressed confidence in the ability of coach Samson Siasia’s led Dream TeamV1 to beat the Coach Claude Leroy led Congolese side when they meet in an Olympic qualifiers this Sunday in Port Harcourt.

Speaking with 2muchsports.com, Pinnick said he has great confidence in the ability of Samson Siasia to lead the team to qualify for the RIO 2016 Olympics.

Pinnick stressed that Siasia handling of the teamis inline with the Federation philosophy of football development.

Amaju Pinnick noted that the Federation will Samson Siasia all that he need to ensure that they beat the Congolese side which defeated Ghana to qualify to meet Nigeria.

“Of a truth we are happy with what Siasia is doing with the team. He is really working in line with our philosophy of developing Nigeria football, and we will give him all the support he needs to succeed,”

Samson Siasia aim to beat the Congolese team convincingly to have a chance of qualifying for the Olympic Games. Though, the team is still putting finishing touches to their training ahead of the big match scheduled to hold in Port Harcourt this weekend.

You may want to recall that Samson Siasia led the Nigeria Dream Team 1V to win silver at the Beijing Olympic Games and he is hoping to repeat with the current players.
